A shared technology

In order to meet the objective of making deposits and transactions as secure as possible, an IT platform shared by the various subsidiaries (Jason Informatique), which is based in France, is responsible for the maintenance and development of the operating systems. Organising matters in this way enables the FINANCIAL Group to maintain the consistency of the IT system and to offer a uniform quality of service.

Unique technology.

All the subsidiaries are equipped with a VSAT antenna (satellite link). They are therefore continuously interlinked.

They are also therefore continuously linked:

• to the SWIFT network: for the rapid and reliable processing of international transfers;
• to the IT platform: for maintenance in direct mode and daily backing-up of banking data, thereby ensuring the integrity of the information system.

These backup procedures (business continuity plan) enable us to ensure our clients of continuity of business, whatever the scenarios in terms of severe weather, physical destruction or security problems in the countries in which the Group operates.

Jason Informatique

A French company consisting of a team of IT experts, it is the FINANCIAL Group's IT partner. It provides the following services:

• Development and maintenance of the shared banking application (ŒUXIS);
• Maintenance of the VSAT network;
• Daily off-site backup of banking data via the VSAT network;
• (As an authorised Service Bureau) secure connection to the SWIFT network.

Jason Informatique works in collaboration with various partners: Progress (corporate applications), SWIFT, Microsoft, Southcomp Polaris (IT products), Ataraxie (internet hosting).

SWIFT

SWIFT is an industry-owned cooperative system of secure, standardised messaging services and interfaces combining around 8,000 financial institutions in more than 200 countries. This network is used to send transfer and payment instructions between banks. The subsidiaries of the FINANCIAL Group are members of this network through Jason Informatique, which acts as an authorised Service Bureau.

The French agency for international business development.
Jason Informatique is an authorised agent of UBIFRANCE and participates in its International Voluntary Service in Business Employment scheme (VIE). Jason Informatique places VIE volunteers with its clients in the FINANCIAL Group in order to promote their development and the proper integration of the software provided. www.ubifrance.fr
