FINANCIAL BANK TCHAD is authorised in January 1992.

The Bank moves into its current premises in 1998.

The authorised share capital is increased to 1,850 million CFA francs on 15 May 2002.

 
Microfinance

On the back of its successful experience with microfinance in Benin, the FINANCIAL Group extends its field of operations and establishes Finadev Tchad on 26 February 2003.
This institution, like its sister-company in Benin, had already begun to conduct its microcredit business within the premises of Financial Bank Tchad the previous year.

In 2006 the Bank refurbishes its premises and changes its logo.

Growth of client deposits

Average deposits have risen as follows:

1998: 8 billion CFA francs;

2001: 11 billion CFA francs;

2002: 15 billion CFA francs;

2006 (September 2006): in excess of 20 billion CFA francs
